Contacted! 🥰😳🥵

It didn’t take long to get a response on Backstage. I created my profile on 10/15/24 and I got a response the day after. And then, there were more. I panicked! I felt overwhelmed, I felt insecure, I just didn’t know what to do. I rejected my first two opportunities with advertisers. I guess that is what its called novice mistakes.

Those wouldn’t be the only opportunities I rejected. I rejected a networking opportunity, a couple of Ads and a last minute shooting for an Italian Company. In my first meeting with the studio that produced my materials, they were very emphatic about only taking work from reliable companies, and to make sure to get paid. They said to be careful about the details in the paperwork, work loads, payment details, etc.

But, I didn’t reject all the opportunities that came to me, that will be another story. For now I must tell you that acting and modeling is not my full time job. I am a real estate broker in NY and CT, that is how I make a living. Acting and modeling are passions of mine. I’ll pursue every opportunity that comes to me in the field as long as it feels legit; and only if I feel comfortable in the particular role.
