I always wanted to be a model and actor. Like many models and actors, I found many doors closed and lack of opportunities. Like many models and actors, I came to the realization that I had to make a living. I applied myself to going to school, taking care of family and getting ahead in life. But my dream never really went away.

Now I realize that there is a world of opportunities out there. This world we live in is full of people of all ages. People with countless stories, people eager to consume stories, and millions of people out there that can see themselves represented by a person my age. Even more important, I can be a father or grandfather figure to somebody, a professor, a coworker, a mentor, or just a member of the community.

It is very possible that there is a person reading this cover letter right now who needs a person like me in his/her cast.
